Admission & Residency

  • Admission is subject to an assessment of care needs.
  • Residents must provide accurate medical, financial, and personal information prior to admission.
  • A written agreement must be signed before moving in.

Care Services

  • The home provides residential care only (assistance with daily living, meals, personal care, and activities).
  • Nursing care is not provided at present but may be available in the future.
  • Care plans are reviewed regularly and updated as needs change.

Fees & Payments

  • Fees must be paid in advance (weekly/monthly, depending on agreement).
  • Failure to make payments may result in termination of residency.
  • Additional charges may apply for extra services not covered in the standard package (e.g., special outings, personal items).

Residents’ Rights

  • Right to dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
  • Right to receive visitors, subject to the home’s visiting policy.
  • Right to make complaints, which will be handled in line with the complaints procedure

Visitors

  • Family and friends are welcome to visit during agreed hours.
  • Visitors must respect the privacy of other residents and staff.
  • The home reserves the right to restrict visits in exceptional circumstances (e.g., health and safety concerns).

Personal Belongings

  • Residents may bring personal belongings and small furniture (subject to space and safety checks).
  • The home will take reasonable care of residents’ property but cannot accept liability for loss or damage unless caused by staff negligence.

Health & Medication

  • Medication must be managed in line with the home’s policies.
  • Residents should disclose all health conditions and prescribed treatments.
  • Emergency medical treatment will be arranged if required.

Termination of Residency

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice (as per contract).
  • Immediate termination may occur if:
  • Fees are unpaid,
  • Care needs exceed the home’s capability,
  • Or if a resident’s behavior threatens the safety of others.

Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • All personal information is kept confidential in compliance with data protection laws.
  • Records will only be shared with authorized professionals or family (with consent).

Changes to Terms

  • The home reserves the right to update or amend these terms & conditions.
  • Residents and families will be informed in advance of any significant changes.
